This Valentine's Day, I Wish You Love! - Los Angeles Fine Art Photographer

Most, if not all, love relationships start out beautifully. Sweet romance, and deadly attraction are some sample words that came to my mind. :D

What may be unbeknown to some is that love relationships, just like life, have their own stages. If you’ve lived long enough, you will see darkness in life. Similarly, if you’ve loved long enough, you will experience doubt, frustration and/or anger (not all inclusive, and not necessarily in that order) associated with the many stages involved.

Maybe you are lucky and haven’t felt the way the penguin in the below image feels. And maybe you are not a penguin. Nonetheless, I wish you love on this Valentine’s Day. As the late Leo Buscaglia puts it, "No one gets out of this world alive, so the time to live, learn, care, share, celebrate, and love is now."

In the name of love, I’d also like to share some parting words, stealing from Leo Buscaglia:”A loving relationship is one in which the loved one is free to be himself - to laugh with me, but never at me; to cry with me, but never because of me; to love life, to love himself, to love being loved. Such a relationship is based upon freedom and can never grow in a jealous heart.”

Now, go love, be loved, share and spread love. Now!

Oh, wow! - Los Angeles Fine Art Photographer

Although I’ve experienced sudden loss of family member (and I wrote about it in my year-end post), the abrupt passing of Kobe Bryant still took me, and many others of the world, off-guard. While I am deeply saddened by the loss of many young lives that perished in the accident, I wonder what the new world that they enter look like.

Some say it’s a paradise. And people are happy there. It’s said that they will be greeted by their loved ones that’s already been there. I wonder if there are colors and whether it’s cold or warm.

Lately, I learned that Steve Job’s last words in this world are “Oh, wow!” “Oh, wow!” “Oh, wow!” I bet it’s a beautiful world that he saw. Rest in peace and have a (basket)ball up there, Kobe, Gianna, and your friends that went with you!

Me and My Future Crystal Ball - Los Angeles Travel Photographer

I get it. It’s a NEW year. Great time to pick up something Grande. And no one has the whole year to find out how things pan out nowadays.

But, why are these people all congregating around me as soon as I slipped into the water?

It’s cold out and the water is hot. Some say cold and hot make a good combination - it cleans your fur and clears your mind. I suppose that’s good.

But I see people’s disappointment once they found out what I truly am doing.

I’m sorry, I don’t have stuff that’s more profound to say to you, something that provides vision into your future. I’m just a normal monkey that simply is trying to take a bath. My sincere apologies, peeeeple.

Next time, maybe I should bring along a crystal ball when bathing. At least the ball will make me look smart. I hate disappointing peeeple.
