The Much Anticipated 2012 Calendar is Here

For those of you that know about a tradition that we've carried on for years at Jean Huang Photography, I know you've been anxious to see the new year's calendar. As a tradition, we make a new calendar with the select few images from our travels during the year.  This is our way of sharing our passion with our beloved clients.  This year, it’s Japan!

The calendar made its début at an event yesterday.  And it's definitely received lots of "woos" and "aahs".

Visit this page under the "Holiday Gifts".  Sit back, watch the slide show and enjoy the colors of Japan unfold in front of your eyes.

If you've seen our calendars from previous years, you'd know the quality of paper and images that go into them.  In fact, this year, we've made them even better.  They are now 11″x17″ calendars with nice sized images (roughly 8″x10″) guaranteed to impress.

If, and that’s an "if", you are compelled to own one for yourself or give as a gift, call or e-mail or fill out a form for Jean Huang Photography. :-)

New Offerings Just In Time for the Holidays! - Los Angeles Photographer

The holiday season is quickly drawing to an end.  Can you believe it?  Only 11 days to make selections for the important ones in your life (let alone the time needed to package and even mail it).  And your feet are hurting from all the walking and searching.  If you are among the lucky ones, your eyes are red from staring at the computer monitor too long.  And worse, you are at loss for what perfect gifts to pick for the very loved ones.  No sweat (not easy to sweat in winter :-)), we have an easy and elegant solution for you - the photography gift card!  All you need is 5 minutes of your time and we will take care of the rest.  Time is limited though if you want to make sure the "beautiful item" arrives before the Christmas dinner.

Go make your purchases here.  And the person that receives it would thank you (I mean, really).  Who wouldn't love a piece of art on their wall, made out of their family, especially their babies' portraits?

Hurry before the cards run out.  Just 5 minutes will allow you to chill out for the rest of the "shopping season" and look like a hero (with good taste) on the "big day". :-)

The Angel's Turned One (One Month That Is) - Los Angeles Newborn Photographer

Any parents of a newborn baby would know how fast time swoops by in between the feeding-peeing-pooping-cleaning and feeding-peeing-pooping-and-cleaning-again kind of cycle.  It was just 2 weeks ago when I photographed this little angel.  Before the world had much chance to meet His Cuteness (as opposed to His Highness), he's one (month young)!

Last night, I had a dream and Cooper was in it.  Here's what he told me in the dream:

"Me a happy baby.  I like to check things out and I like to smile, a lot."

"Tehe...Daddy doesn't know my secret.  I just peed again...Tehe..."

©Jean (Jiaying) Huang "Daddy looks sharp in this outfit.  I can't wait to grow up to be like him."

"But it sure is boring work.  It ain't easy for my daddy to bring home bread everyday...  Ahhh...get me out of this!"

"Nothing beats a good sleep after all that work.  Dream, sweet dream..."

©Jean (Jiaying) Huang "They say I'm one month old.  Woo hoo... I'm a big baby now.  I want you all to know that I am dealing with some 'growing pain'.  But don't worry, as I will soon learn, 'no pain, no gain'.  I will be OK 'cause I'm Cooper the Trooper."

"You ask where's my mommy?  I hid her from you 'cause she's myyyy mommy.  Shhhh, don't wake her up.  Ever since I came around, she hasn't  slept 30 hours in a day."
