Thank You for Being You - Los Angeles Fine Art Photographer

Call me slow. This year feels different. I’ve received holiday card before the “holiday season” is here. I’ve been bombarded with Black Friday ads months ahead. While I may get confused often. I know today is THE day. :-)

After last year’s hiatus, my partner-in-crime and I are back to celebrating the day with loved ones again, despite being at a smaller scale. That, I’m thankful for.

During this strange and difficult time that we are still dealing with, many of you stick around and show that you care about me as a person. This, I’m grateful for.

I’ve received many inquiries from the ones that found me online to purchase my art. How do people offer to buy from you when you don’t even have a store yet? I have no idea. But I feel forever indebted.

After years of contemplating, I’ve finally opened up
my online store. The door is only cracked open a little. The shelves are not even fully stocked (let me know what you want to see there). It’s not a grand opening. I won’t even say it’s a soft opening. I’m tempted to call it a “slow opening”. How is that? Anyway, feel free to get in and play, especially with the augmented reality (hint: Live Preview).

To end my appearance here, I wanted to present to you the beautiful chrysanthemum that’s blooming in my garden right now. Beautiful and timely.

The Thanksgiving cactus, on the other hand, is still taking its time. There’s a personal story on this cactus. I may share it on
my Instagram account tomorrow. In any case, like anything in this life and world, it’ll happen when the timing is right.

Thank you for being you and being patient with me finding my own timing.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello Autumn, the Season of Fruits and Bakery! - Los Angeles Fine Art Photographer

As nature has decisively shown us the hint, I know my favorite season has arrived.

In my opinion, autumn is the most colorful season of the year (you know
I love colors). On top of that, have you noticed that the thought (and the smell thereof) of baking has once again entered our thoughts, while you are munching an abundance of fruits? ;-) At least it did for me, well, metaphorically. :-)

So, I’ve been baking up a storm while I was MIA (my apologies). As much as I want the world to see my “bakery” right now, I’m going to try to hold back my excitement better than this guy:

You know, I’d still need to do a little taste test and the platter that the cake is going to be served in needs some garnish.

Alright, alright, you can’t stand the thought of waiting much longer now that the beans have been spilled? Would you want to be the taste tester? Click here and we’ll talk.

In the meantime, sit back and enjoy the splendor of the fall season. What are you seeing this autumn?

Beauty and the Beast in Greenland - Los Angeles Fine Art Photographer

Greenland, the world’s largest island, is featured by an ice sheet so massive that it covers more than four-fifth of the country’s total land area. Actually, Ice-land may have been a more fitting name for this island. :-)

On a land of the desolate scenery and Arctic deserts, I swear I started seeing people.

Granted, I have been known to suffer from crossed eyes and saw landscape in a human body (see my bodyscape work and a human landscape here as well). Being in a land of natural extremities would only exacerbate the condition, wouldn’t it?

Anyway, this time, I was seeing human bodies in landscape. In fact, make it two - it’s a beauty and her almighty beast in the shade.

Do you see what I see?
