Chloe, more story on her ... - Los Angeles Children's Photographer

I know, I must feel like a slacker to you since I haven't posted for a while. ย But, but, I had a reason (in your vocabulary, it may be an excuse; but I'm sticking to my own opinion). ย The reason is that I took a trip to San Francisco and Napa and had many wonderful pictures from the trip. ย So while I'm diligently processing these pictures, the story-teller in me thought that I'd keep you entertained with some more pictures of Chole that I've processed.

Something tells me that if I do things with a passion (in this case, telling a story), you would love it. ย So, without further ado, here' the story.

Chloe is learning to walk and her parents bought her a little cart to walk with:

Chloe: "Yah, I can walk now!"

ยฉ Jean Huang Photography Chloe: "I am going places..."

ยฉ Jean Huang Photography Chloe: "Stepping on the gas. ย The world is waiting for me to conquer..."

ยฉ Jean Huang Photography Chloe: " Wait, this thing is not going anywhere! ย Must be a mechanical problem. ย I can get it fixed in no time." (Chloe, has it occurred to you that grandma might have put a "manual break" to your "car"?)

ยฉ Jean Huang Photography Chloe: "Help! ย Somebody? ย Help! ย Daddy?..."

ยฉ Jean Huang Photography Chloe: "I've decided that I'm upset. ย These 'big people' only care about their 'big cars'. ย No one's helping me. ย Sigh..." ยฉ Jean Huang Photography Everybody, Chloe:

Can Normal Life Objects, like Chili Peppers, be Turned Into Art?

If you remember my earlier post "Looking Beyond the Obvious" and its follow-up "The Not So Obvious Answers", you'd know that I don't look at things in a "normal" way. ย This time, it's no exception.

Things all started pretty innocently...

As mentioned in the post of "The Not So Obvious Answers", my parents gave me a few plants of Mexican chili pepper since I'm into vegetable gardening. ย A couple of weeks have passed. ย Dad stopped by and brought over 2 peppers from their own garden while mine just started having flowers. ย It sort of feels like a "preview" of what to expect once mine come to "fruition".

The thing is that my tolerance to spiciness is limited and if my dad said this pepper is spicy, it IS spicy for me. ย So I'm looking at these beautiful gifts from the nature and the photographer in me got an idea. ย Why not take photos of them?

So here's what I started with:

ยฉ Jean Huang Photography Notice I've changed the border colors for the same picture. ย And I want to remind you again that this piece of art only started with 2 pieces of chili peppers. ย You've got to give the beautiful nature some credit!

Then I got a little more creative. ย So here they are:

ยฉ Jean Huang Photography Like what you've seen? ย These art pieces can be printed (as is; without the watermarks, of course) and mounted or framed (at your choice) to make your day, every day. ย At your preference, you also have the options to customize the border colors and/or background colors.

Additionally, if you like them to be made of other words/phrases, it can be done. ย  In other words, all sorts of customization can be done.

So all you need is to call or e-mail me (my contact info can be found by clicking the "Contact" tab at the top)!

Cassie, an "independent" 8-month old - Los Angeles Children's Photographer

As I meet children of all ages nowadays, I can't ignore the impression that they appear to be a lot smarter at a much earlier age. ย Of course, since I used myself as a reference when I was little, the reference could be less representative of the generation that I belong to. :-)

Then I met Cassie, the girl that just came to this world 8 months ago. ย She totally blew me out of water.

Here's this little one that seems to be in her own zone, not bothered by the people, kids (mind you, the drama and the noise), or the dogs. ย From a "looking down" kind of perspective as an adult (but who am I here to judge if she was already much smarter than I was), it seems that she's got the little engine churning in her head to process information that's only relevant to her. ย I mean, how impressive is that when all you see from her face is calmness, at an age of 8 months...
