A serene scene brought back from Halong Bay, Vietnam - Los Angeles Photographer

Alright, my friends. ย I hope you've enjoyed the beautiful scenery from Halong Bay that I posted last week. ย As beautiful as the picture conveys, I love anything that's more than single-element. ย This goes for people, food, scenery, or anything else that I can't put my mind onto at the moment. So this next picture I'm about to share was also taken from Halong Bay. ย But you'd see an obvious difference of feel from the previous one - a lone little fishing boat, floating quietly by itself. ย And the fish net seems to be telling a story...

As you look into the (seemingly blank) distance, what feeling/sentiment/emotion did this scene draw from you? ย I'd love that you share...

Beautiful travel pictures from Vietnam and Cambodia to be slowly released - Los Angeles Photographer

OK, I'd have to admit that I'm a little behind on posting pictures. ย The truth is, as many of us are familiar with the moment of clicking the shutter, the pictures taken usually go through a digital processing that, in my opinion, takes much longer time than the time of photo shoot. ย Plus, the end results are an art, the generation process of which is not anywhere near the ones that involve 1+1 = 2. So anyway, this sort of explains why my travel photos have a lagging time while I'm painstakingly working on each individual for a way of presentation/expression that I feel good at the time. ย And all this is going on while I have the clients' pictures in the "front burner". ย If you haven't figured out that I'm the type of photographer that falls in love with her clients' photos before the client even has a peek, you'd know that I go through the same "perfectionist" type of process with my client work.

So, finally, I feel good about releasing one picture from my Vietnam and Cambodia trip. ย While I'm in the process of making a book with the incredible scenery, history, culture and people of these countries, I will make a calendar with a selective few. ย And I think that this picture will make the final cut. ย What do you think?

What Better Way than to Preserve Your Party Memories in a Custom Photo CD/DVD Case - Los Angeles Event/Party Photographer

Happy holidays! ย Tis' the season for parties!

Although I haveย tieredย pricing for events/parties, many customers choose to have the touched-up pictures burned onto a CD/DVD. ย In this case, I'd always recommend a CD/DVD case. ย Why? ย Because it's aย great add-on and it's like what an album is like to the pictures in it. ย It also protects the nice pictures from the memorable parties on your CD/DVD.

They can be single, double or triple CD/DVD holders with leatherette, linen, or custom photo covers (my personal favorite) and finished with a magnetic closure.

The pictures below are examples of a CD case for Nathan the little pirate's party. ย In this case, it holds a single CD, with customizations on the cover, including the design (can vary based on the occasion and taste preference), the picture and the caption. ย The cover is also laminated for further protection of the surface.

Now, go off and book a venue (could be your home :-))for a holiday celebration and I will be there in no time! :-)
